We are a leader in providing innovative lightweight solutions across the building industry.We are on the hunt for a process driven quality specialist to be based at our manufacturing and warehouse facility in Wetherill Park.You will be the responsible for the following operational outcomes. Minimising customer complaints, waste and downtime by standardising workplace practices that drive down variability in the process and ensure new products, improvement trials and changes to process are accurately recorded and carried out as per company standards.If you are a highly motivated team player with excellent problem-solving capabilities with a passion for Safety and Quality and Process improvement, while utilising proven continuous improvement methodologies, then this position is for you.Duties & Responsibilities;Reporting into the operations manager you will work closely production, engineering, warehouse, SHE, sales team and our customers to ensure product quality and environmental sustainability:Your responsibilities will also include;Ensuring all product manufactured on site meets internal quality targets set by CSRThe alignment between customer expectations, manufacturing specifications, operational targets and Australian standardsEnsuring all practices on site are environmentally sustainable and comply with legislationEnsuring our Quality & Environmental management system, Programs and Practices are implemented, maintained and audited regularlyManage and drive a continuous improvement process ensuring the consistency of our products, services and environmental standardVisit our customers to identify what they like and what we could improve on from their perspective Record and disseminate learnings to our employees, customers and all other CSR departmentsSkills & Qualifications:This role is extremely hands on and in order to be considered you will ideally have;Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/logistics warehouse environmentQualifications in an Engineering or related discipline an advantageExperience using CI techniques such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma etcThe ability to work well in a fast paced environment and work well under pressureExcellent computer skills with exposure using SAPRewards & Benefits of the rolePermanent positionExcellent salary including 12% Super and leave loadingThe opportunity to progress your career with a market leading organisationCSR has a fantastic working environment and embraces full diversity on our sites.
