Qualified & Experienced Tiler

Cairns Tiling Services is in need of a full-time experienced and qualified tiler that is willing to learn under a team of professionals to master their skills.
This position requires a construction card, valid driver's licence, and the ability to travel to and from the various work sites each day with the required tools and items necessary to complete their work.
It is essential that the candidate be willing to learn and become proficient in their work of the highest quality.
The duties of this job role include:
Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces, and laying out work.Preparing wall and floor surfaces including cleaning, grinding, levelling, and waterproofing.Spreading adhesive.Appropriate use of tile cutting tools.Laying various tiles/stone on internal and external walls and floors for protective and decorative finishes.Creating finishing and finalising touches.The candidate must also work extremely well in a team while being independent in their designated tasks and have a strong work ethic.
