About the role:
The Proposal Manager is responsible for the management of medium to large, sometimes complex and strategic Proposals, generally >$5M to Your responsibilities will include: Fostering a team culture that optimizes individual and team capability and performance.Effectively articulate the win strategy and Proposal themes to the Proposal team at the commencement of the Proposal development process.Manage the Client clarification process following the submission of proposals.Manage the process of handing over the Contract and relevant Proposal documents to Operations for Won Opportunities.Maintain a good working knowledge of completed, current, and future Proposals.Adhere to the Sales Lifecycle Management Procedure and applicable forms, tools, and Guidelines.Ensure all Proposal information is securely and logically captured in SharePoint in line with the document management process.Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in STEM, Business Management or Commercial disciplines, or other significant demonstrated relevant experience.
* Experience delivering or bidding power projects will be highly regarded.
* Proposal and Project management process knowledge and understanding through market knowledge of pricing benchmarks.
* Proposal planning and Microsoft Project.
* Proposal document preparation using Microsoft Office and Adobe.
* Document management and SharePoint.
* Salesforce or other CRM knowledge.
About you:
* You will have previous experience in a Proposal Manager role or previous relevant Project Manager experience, ideally from a power or infrastructure background.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work to tight deadlines.
* Be a great people leader with a can-do attitude.
