Your opportunity We are seeking a Property Tenure Officer (AS4) to join our Property Advisory Tenure team in Brisbane.
This role is crucial to maintaining the integrity of our rail corridor tenure and supporting Queensland Rail's property portfolio and operations.
You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality tenure advice, supporting Queensland Rail projects, and ensuring accuracy in property records and databases.

Key responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for tenure-related matters, assisting Queensland Rail's capital and operational projects.Conduct investigations and provide guidance on historical and current property holdings.Maintain and ensure the integrity of Queensland Rail's property records, keeping systems up to date for compliance and reporting.Support the Team Leader in preparing reports and meeting performance targets.Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to address tenure and property-related inquiries.Who we're looking for We are looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful professional with a foundational knowledge of the Queensland property and titles system.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
An understanding of the Queensland property and titles systemAn understanding of land tenureFamiliarity with property search platforms and mapping systems such as GlobalX Plan Exchange, RP Data, GIS Mapping (Esri, MapInfo, etc) and QLD Globe.Knowledge of reading property maps, titles documents and survey plans;Optional but beneficial skills include:
Any experience with land surveying is a plusFamiliarity with SAPDegree qualification in Surveying, Spatial Sciences, Property Economics, or a related field.Knowledge or experience with Native TitleExperience in conveyancing.Remuneration & Employment Type This is a permanent, fulltime position, based in Brisbane CBD with a starting base salary of $98,061 plus 12.75% superannuation and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.
