As a Fitter, you are responsible for ensuring Plant and Equipment is functioning in a manner that is in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Duties may include working in various locations on site including the kitchens and our inhouse Laundry.A few of your responsibilities:Perform specialised trades maintenance throughout The Star property as per triaged Maximo logMaintain inventory of tools, materials and equipmentSupport other trade technicians in the team with their respective workTrouble shoot and provide expert advice in the event of incidents that occur on equipmentWhat are we looking for:Engineering trade certification with relevant experiencePrevious experience with repair and maintenance of commercial processing plant and equipmentA customer first approach, with a positive dispositionA good understanding of Food Safety legislation and community safetyExperience with Stainless Steel Welding and Fabrication (highly regarded)Previous experience in the maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment (highly regarded)A valid Gas Work Licence (Type A& B) (highly regarded)About you:You will be passionate about demonstrating effective trade skills, as your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our property operations team at The Star Gold Coast.
