This is a great temporary opportunity (4 months estimated +) to use and build your existing property/ land knowledge in a professional environment.
The role The role will look after crown land disposal transactions and complex issues relating to land As a valued member of a small property team, this role will provide technical advice in accordance with policy and legislation to clients and stakeholders.
Previous experience in a government or similar role is required, where you are making assessments and allocation of crown land and able to negotiate land acquisitions and disposals.
Understanding of current legislation and policy is essential and maintaining departmental records in compliance with legislation and policies.
Successful applicants must have a drivers licence and a current national police clearance The role may require some regional travel in South Australia Working closely with stakeholders including tenants, government departments, community groups, consultants and internal departments Keeping records and databases up to date with property related data Strong administration component in the role Preparing written reports, advice and recommendations Skills & experience To be considered you will need at least 2-3 years experience in a property role with an understanding of crown land processes and the ability to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
You will need to be flexible in your approach and confident enough to learn swiftly.
A conveyancing background would also be suitable.
To be successful for this role you will need excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to quickly build internal and external working relationships.
