Job Description Your opportunity: KM Property Funds with $500m in funds under management and a portfolio spread across Australia, is a growing business and are looking for a Property Fund Accountant to join our finance team based in Melbourne CBD.

About the role: As a Property Fund Accountant at KM Property Funds, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a growing property investment portfolio.
Working within a small, dynamic team, you will provide comprehensive accounting and financial reporting services across multiple property funds.
This diverse and exciting role offers a great opportunity to contribute to the success of a rapidly expanding business while further developing your expertise in property and fund accounting.
What will you be doing?
Accounting and financial reporting support for a portfolio of property funds Investor distribution payment administration and liaise with external registry Modelling, forecasting, scenario and cashflow planning Maintaining investment and tax registers and documentation Treasury administration including KYC/ AML/ CTF and debt compliance Accounting policy and procedure update and compliance sign off and reconciliations Assisting the team with reporting, research and analysis as required About you: Hold a Bachelor degree in Accounting or similar Be CAANZ or CPA qualified Advanced Excel and modelling skills Real estate and Fund accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting standards and application Management reporting and analysis skills Good knowledge of tax compliance requirements in Australia Proficiency in accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics FinOps and Financial Reporter and MYOB Experience with Argus and Estate Master or similar financial modelling programs looked upon favourably Work well with stakeholders, management, banks, external service providers, custodian, registry, auditors and tax accountants Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and growing workplace Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Flexibility to work on projects and manage workload to external and internal deadlines Additional Information Diversity Applying 'a different mindset' is at the heart of everything KordaMentha does, and it is fuelled by the diversity of our peoples' experiences and backgrounds.
