Embrace possibilities and be open to new ideas and creating bold solutions.About the roleAre you an experienced professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead the management of diverse property assets in one of the world's most vibrant cities?The City of Sydney is undergoing a significant transformational change within Property Services, and we're seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our Business Services Team.The City manages a unique and diverse range of assets, including heritage-listed commercial buildings, award-winning libraries, and operationally critical depots.Our portfolio includes over 1,500 property interests worth $2.7 billion, covering assets such as building properties, footway agreements, vacant land, and road interests.This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the realisation of our Sustainable Sydney 2030 2050 vision by driving high-performance asset management.As a Property Compliance Manager, you will:Establish and monitor key performance indicators for compliance activities. Define relevant KPIs, analyse data, and use metrics to evaluate and improve compliance programs.Oversee regular property inspections and audits to assess regulatory adherence. Coordinate inspections, identify non-compliance issues, develop action plans, and maintain detailed records for transparency.Oversee vendor and contractor compliance with requirements. Vet compliance credentials, monitor work, and enforce adherence to standards throughout contracts.Drive staff training programs on compliance requirements and best practices.
