Key Duties:
Assist in Project Planning : Support project managers in planning and organising cybersecurity projects, including setting timelines, defining deliverables, and coordinating resources. Documentation and Reporting : Prepare and maintain project documentation, such as project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and action item trackers. Ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Coordinate Meetings : Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas, organising materials, and documenting meeting outcomes. Follow up on action items and ensure timely completion. Monitor Project Progress : Track project milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to project managers on progress, risks, and issues. Assist in identifying and addressing project deviations. Support Risk Management : Help identify and document potential project risks and issues. Assist in implementing mitigation strategies and updating risk registers. Facilitate Communication : Act as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners. Ensure effective communication and coordination among all parties involved in the project. Manage Project Tools : Assist in the administration of project management tools and platforms, ensuring they are used effectively and that project data is accurately recorded. Prepare Project Materials : Assist in the preparation of project presentations, reports, and other materials required for stakeholder updates and project reviews. Support Project Budgeting : Help monitor project budgets and expenditures. Assist in tracking financial records and preparing budget reports as needed. Assist with Compliance : Help ensure that project activities comply with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulations. Support efforts to maintain adherence to compliance requirements. Handle Administrative Tasks : Perform general administrative tasks related to project support, including organising files, managing correspondence, and maintaining project records. Provide General Support : Offer general support to project managers and team members, assisting with any additional tasks as required to ensure the smooth execution of cybersecurity projects. This is a security-vetted position. Candidates must be Australian Citizens and already have, or be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 (or above) security clearance.
