Working with government agencies in Australia and around the world, the department is the primary agency in ensuring Australia's economic growth and stability on the global stage.
The Role: Our client is seeking a skilled Project Support Officer to be responsible for a range of operational tasks in support of a number of large project teams within their cyber security and networks division.
The Project Support Officer will be responsible for the delivery of small work packages with minimal supervision, as well as assisting with risk management, scheduling, resource management, and reporting.
The successful candidate will leverage their ability to build rapport in order to foster strong working relationships with stakeholders and will represent the division when collaborating with other IT teams.
Skills and Experience: Proven experience supporting large project teams An understanding of cyber security technologies and principles Ability to take ownership of small work packages and deliver with minimal supervision High-level skills in task execution and documentation Ability to work across multiple project and operational objectives with flexibility and resilience Knowledge or certification in project management methodologies (i.e.
PRINCE2, Agile) is desirable Experience working in a Security Operations Centre environment will be advantageous It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 security clearance.
