This resource will work across operational tasks and be confident in representing the cyber operations section when engaging with other teams across the ICT division, with an ability to foster good rapport and working relationships with technical stakeholders.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have suitable experience and skills to take ownership of and deliver small work packages with autonomy and minimal supervision, possessing a keen eye for detail and strong work ethic.
Location of work: ACT
Initial contract duration: 12 months with 2x12 months extension
Security clearance: Must have Negative Vetting Level 1
The successful candidate must be able to satisfy the following role specific selection criteria:
Essential Criteria: An understanding of cyber security technologies and principles.Demonstrated experience in supporting large project teams, particularly in risk and issue management, scheduling, resource management, and reporting.Flexibility and resilience to work across multiple project and operational objectives concurrently.High quality and accuracy in task execution and documentation.Proven ability to take ownership of small work packages and deliver them with autonomy, requiring minimal supervision.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster good rapport and working relationships.Desirable criteria: Knowledge or certification in project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2, Agile) to support structured project delivery.Working in a Security Operations Centre environment.Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues proactively, with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
