Our clients include some of Australia's largest electricity utilities, infrastructure and renewable developers, commercial and industrial companies and transport network operators.About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Project Quality Lead to join our team based at our Melbourne's CBD head office on a full time and permanent basis. Working on the Suburban Rail Loop project, this role will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of functions to provide leadership, expert advice, and guidance on quality assurance, including standards, requirements, procedures and practices across both functional branches and work package delivery teams.In addition, this role will be accountable for applying professional expertise in planning, organising, preparing, conducting, and reporting on sites inspections and audits, including the follow up and close out of actions raised by clients. Please note that travel between multiple work sites is an inherent requirement of this role.What you'll deliver:Ensure project specific contract activities are met in accordance with a quality management system (QMS) that meets the relevant requirements for ISO 9001:2015Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the deployment of quality systems and certification processes within our businessEnsure the QMS demonstrates compliance to all relevant Legislative Requirements, Authorisations, and the specific Project Scope & Technical Requirements (PS&TR) for BEON and ClientDevelop strategies for the implementation of the project Quality Management Plan that complies with company policies and procedures and achieves client and project requirementsImplement Quality & Completion Management System of the project to ensure quality & completion objectives achievedAttend project design meetings from early stage to provide engineering inputs and help in value engineeringIdentification, development & compliance reviews of all relevant ITR's, ITP's and other checklists including the control, testing & calibration of equipmentEnsure all materials and equipment are inspected & conform with QMS & record requirements ensuring full traceability for all materials and equipment used. All material receiving report to be submitted timely to client on Field-ViewTracking of defects or non-conformances and subsequent reporting and rectification proposalsDevelop/refine field audit quality programDevelop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, key management system users and other strategic parties, through defined client relationship management strategies.To succeed in this role you'll have:Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) or Electrician by TradeProject Management QualificationExtensive knowledge and proven implementation of completion programs and Quality tools (Preferably Field-View or Pronto-form applications)Ability to actively identify, share and act on lessons learned and relevant good practices, sharing in and across the team/s as appropriatePrevious experience and track record of achievement and progress as a Quality Manager/or other relevant senior Quality engineer experience, working on electricity distribution, sub-transmission, transmission industry ideally in Rail industryField leadership/management in construction, services, industrial or development projectsProven developed stakeholder and relationship experience and skillsDemonstrates well developed verbal/written communication and reporting skills, attention to detail and effective interpersonal skills.Your career with us:We have a diversity of teams across our business, all contributing to great customer and community outcomes.
