This position involves coordinating administrative tasks, supporting events, managing communications, and aiding in the preparation and execution of governance meetings.Your responsibilities will include:Provide high-quality administrative and project support for the Australian Centre for Accelerating Diabetes Innovations (ACADI), facilitating the advancement of diabetes research and interventions.Contribute to a leading national initiative poised to enhance diabetes management and treatment, engaging with an extensive network of clinical, research, and industry partners within Australia's premier biomedical precinct.Provide event and program support for ACADI.Provide high-level executive support for ACADI governance committees and meetings.Provide administrative support.Who We Are Looking ForYou will have a degree coupled with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training. Your role demands excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus, enabling effective interactions with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will demonstrate well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage workflows and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a flexible and innovative approach. Knowledge of the higher education sector, experience with diabetes-related contexts is desirable.You will also have:A degree with subsequent relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Experience in supporting event organisation and management.Demonstrated experience in providing high-level secretariat support.A high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.Important InformationThis role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check.
