About the Company: One of Australia's leading fresh food and grocery retailers, committed to providing high-quality produce and exceptional customer service, with a focus on sustainability and innovation, continuing to expand their presence nationwide.About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Automation Project Manager to oversee the implementation of automated systems in their new distribution centre on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability for their supply chain operations through the strategic deployment of automation technologies.Key Responsibilities:Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for warehouse automation initiatives, from planning and design to execution and handover.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals.Lead the installation of automation technologies, including robotics and conveyor systems.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve timely and cost-effective project delivery.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.Oversee training programs for warehouse staff to facilitate smooth adoption and operation of new automation systems.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.Proven experience in managing warehouse automation projects, including system design, implementation, and optimization.Strong technical expertise in automation technologies such as robotics, and warehouse management systems (WMS).Experience with project management methodologies and tools.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Click on APPLY NOW or contact Arvin on ****** for further information.Six Degrees Executive acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live.
