We're enabling the energy transition to a cleaner, more reliable electricity grid, and invite you to be at the forefront of this groundbreaking journey.Your Mission:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager with experience in underground cavern, tunnel or mine development and major civil works to join our dynamic owner's team. The position will support the Silver City Project in Broken Hill as part of the Owner's / Client Team working with the construction team to provide senior leadership in the lead up to execution and on site. As a key member of the senior management presence on site, the Project Manager will oversee the development and execution of the underground cavern, shafts and major civil works on the surface that are crucial to the success of the project.This role will work collaboratively with the wider Hydrostor team members and our construction partner on the Silver City Project as it moves through late-stage development to financial close and on to construction completion.Your Day-to-Day Adventures:Take full delivery responsibility to successfully deliver the underground cavern, shafts and major civil works ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget and quality standards.Support the Owner's project leadership on site, providing strategic insights and on-the-ground management to facilitate seamless construction delivery with the construction partners.Work collaboratively with the wider Hydrostor team members and construction partner to review the constructability of the project and suggest opportunities to improve costs, efficiencies, productivity and scheduling.Be part of the design review process to contribute your experience and knowledge to developing best for project solutions and designs.Develop construction readiness plans internally and with the construction partner to ensure construction execution is a success.Who You Are:You are a highly skilled and experienced project manager specializing in underground cavern development and major civil engineering projects. Your background demonstrates a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
