About the role Based at our Support Office in Chadstone, this dynamic role is accountable for the project management and delivery of new stores and capital projects including refurbishments. Keeping the Officeworks business requirements front of mind, the Project Manager will deliver innovative and cost-effective project solutions ensuring all projects are delivered safely, within budget, on time and to a high quality.
Your proficiency in project management, focusing on planning, safety, risk management, tenders and contracts administration, coupled with your innate ability to build and maintain relationships with all project stakeholders will all equally contribute to your success in this opportunity.
Proven experience in managing budgets, compiling project costings and producing scope of works documentation in addition to knowledge of the BCA/NCC will be highly regarded, as will your previous retail/big box exposure.
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate:
Over 5 years' experience in Project Management and fit-out of retail outlets
High level of understanding of the commercial, organisational and contract issues which surround retail fit out projects
Thorough knowledge of project management principles, theories, concepts and proven skills in their use
About you The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail partnered with the ability to build effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You will possess thorough knowledge of Project Management principles and Risk Management and have a strong focus on continuous process improvement.
This role will require interstate travel dependent on project requirements and timelines.
Tertiary qualification in a Property related and/or relevant experience in an associated discipline i.e. Project Management, Building and Architectural, will be regarded but not essential.
