Exciting opportunity within a Federal Government DepartmentInitial 12 month contract + 1 x 12 month extension options! Rewarding hourly rates $$$ A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Project Manager to join a highly multidisciplinary team.
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the OCIO vendor portfolio, defining OCIO vendors' requirements, and cultivating and maintaining vendors and stakeholders' relationships.
The successful Project Manager will be offered a 12 month contract with 1 x 12 month extension options! The successful Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Develop and maintain project plan using project management methods and tools.Prepare realistic plans including scope, schedule, risk and communication plans.Track activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.The successful Project Manager will have experience in the following:
Proven experience 5 to 8 years in establishing and managing the delivery projects.Recent experience in, and strong knowledge of, contemporary project management and governance frameworks and methodologies.Project Management in Federal or State Government environments.Relevant tertiary qualifications; and an industry recognised qualification in project management, such as Diploma of Project Management; or SAFe Agile.This is a great opportunity with a Federal Government Department and to join a supportive team!
