The Role
We are seeking to engage a Senior Project Manager to join our Power & Energy Team. This role can be based in New South Wales / Victoria . You'll be responsible for applying high-level innovative, economical, and practical methods to drive the success of complex, high-priority projects across SMEC's major renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Project management of complex and large-scale Renewable projects
Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and co-ordination of deliverables
Financial management, client liaison and contract administration
Oversight and governance of projects to resolve project issues and ensure project product is of high quality
Provision of coaching and support to project personnel
Source, build and maintain strong and effective client relationships through successful project delivery and targeted activities
About You
Suitable applicants will be/have:
Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years domestic project management experience, within the power and energy space
Significant Primary Substation Design experience
High level communication skills to advise and guide project delivery in a pro-active manner
A track record of achievement in a similar role and a passion for building trusted relationships with tier one developers to drive positive change and win new work
