As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first stage of work beginning before the end of the year. The project also emphasizes safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.
About the role: Oversee projects exceeding $100M, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, and budget.Coordinate with the Regional Construction Manager to authorize construction plans and schedules for timely project completion.Monitor compliance with performance specifications throughout the project duration.Assess abnormal risks in tender documents.Prepare and submit major contractual claims.Preference for experience in the kick-off pre-contracts stage, though not essential.Proven multi-disciplined experience within the construction industry.The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience: A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.10+ years post-graduate experience within a Principal Contractor environment.Experience in managing hard dollar projects over $100M in project value.Previous history of working on a range of treatment plant or wastewater treatment plants, desalination, oil & gas, and pipeline projects essential.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Current C-Class Driver's Licence.Seymour Whyte is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds, including veterans.
