If you're seeking an environment that fosters growth, technical excellence, and opportunities to work on exciting, impactful projects, this is the place to advance your career.About the OpportunityOur client is looking for a full-time Project Manager based in Rockhampton, Queensland.In this role, you'll report to the Business Management Team and will oversee multiple projects, ensuring client expectations are consistently met and exceeded.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Managing multiple projects with a focus on client satisfactionPreparing cost estimates and tender submissionsLiaising with subcontractors and clients to maintain excellent project flowEnsuring projects are on track and within budgetReading and understanding project requirements from documentationBuilding and maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationshipsForward planning to prevent and resolve issues before they impact timelinesAbout YouTo qualify, you will need at least two years of experience managing projects within the construction industry. A trade background in structural steel, welding and fabrication, or metal fabrication is highly regarded. This role is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to advance their career and step into greater responsibility.Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:Experience with quality management systems and documentationKnowledge of safety management proceduresUnderstanding of welding standards and proceduresProficiency in MS Excel and WordFamiliarity with government compliance platformsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProactive multitasking and time managementClear written and verbal communication skillsAn ideal candidate will bring a solid background in fabrication and structural steel, with extensive experience in steel structure erection.
