Saltair is a multi-award-winning builder based with business units in Crestmead, Brisbane and Coolum, Sunshine coast. We are currently experiencing significant growth in the residential, commercial and government sectors and are looking to welcome a Project Manager into our Crestmead team.

We love the small-business mentality, where all core team members are involved in all aspects of the business, but at the same time have significant autonomy in their respective roles.
Saltair typically handles all aspects of a project; from Concept Design, Reports, Detailed Design, Building Approvals, Construction and Final Turnkey certification. The Project Manager would be responsible for managing our projects through design, approval and construction. You would be supported by our experienced team as you come up to speed with our simple yet effective systems and processes.
The Role
Working with our Sales Team to onboard our new clients in our systems
Understanding site constraints, engaging and reviewing Specialist Reports
Working with the design team to finalize the project documentation.
Working with the estimating team to finalize project costing.
Liase with the client throughout the design, approval and construction process.
Coordinating with our Estimating Team to develop Final Quotes
Engaging with external Engineers, Certifiers and others to achieve Building Approval.
Co-ordinate project specific shop drawings to take place including structural steel, LWS frames etc.
Engaging with our procurement team to ensure materials and subcontractor procurement takes place efficiently.
Co-ordinate the project program and ensure it takes place in accordance with the overall production program.
Ensure construction works in the factory take place in a cost-effective manner and to budget
Engage site sub-contractors for all site works required before and after the module install.
Liase/direct and assist the site supervisors to ensure they have all the tools to enable a successful project.
Communicate/Negotiate and document cost and time variations with clients
Co-ordinate and manage the project to practical completion and handover with the client
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
High level of professionalism and presentation
5+ years experience in managing residential development projects very beneficial
Experience in NDIS projects beneficial
Passionate and self-driven: comfortable with deadlines
Genuine enthusiasm to provide an exceptional customer experience
Track record of at least 3+ years in managing clients and designs
Ability to resolve issues quickly and innovatively to ensure the project progresses as expected
Estimating experience nice but not essential
Experience in modular nice but not essential
