OFI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team.
The role will be based in our Perth or Bunbury office and will be responsible for managing and coordinating project activities, including but not limited to:
Project Management and Coordination: Oversee Electrical and Instrumentation projects, ensuring integration with other OFI divisions for design and constructability.
Participate in client meetings, workshops, and planning sessions, including HAZOPS and risk assessments.Procurement and Resource Management: Handle procurement processes and manage resources effectively, including supervising staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
Participate in business development and early-stage estimation and proposal development.Scheduling and Financial Oversight: Develop and manage project schedules and track financial performance to ensure projects stay within budget.Risk and Compliance Management: Identify, manage, and communicate risks associated with projects and the wider company.
Ensure compliance with OHSEQ requirements and maintain necessary documentation.Site Inspections and Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety standards, budget constraints, schedules, and progress, addressing any defects or issues promptly.The right candidate will join our dynamic team of excellent communicators who are skilled in their chosen field and understand the importance of collaboration and perseverance.

About you Proven senior role in Electrical and Instrumentation Construction, delivering projects up to $10MSkilled in managing high-quality industrial electrical projects and safety requirementsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsLegal right to work in Australia; Construction Card, WA driver's license, A Grade Electrical Licence, and Apply First Aid/CPR CertificationStrong financial tracking and project management skills; adaptable to OFI and client systemsExperienced in remote project management and guiding site teamsWell-connected with suppliers; knowledgeable of equipment for WA conditions and Australian StandardsEager to grow, learn, and solve problemsComfortable engaging with colleagues and clients; willing to visit project sites regularly and stay longer at critical pointsAbout us For more than 30 years, OFI has provided innovative electrical solutions across Australia to the Mining and Resource, Government and Defence, Fuels and Explosives and other key sectors.
