We are a member of the CIMIC Group of companies.The UGL New Energy Team is having a great 2024 and is successfully about to deliver 3 large scale battery projects which are now in the commissioning phase. We are leading the way in New Energy – our pipeline of work for the next 3-5 years is exceptional. We have recently been awarded a Refinery project in Geelong, VICUGL promotes diversity and alternate ways of working including part-time.ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFERWe are seeking an accomplished Project Manager to oversee and deliver large-scale clean energy projects. Ideally, they will head our initiatives, demonstrating a proven track record in successfully delivering complex renewable energy projects. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of the EPC process.Your duties and responsibilities will include:Lead and oversee all aspects of projects, from initial planning to final execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, procurement specialists, and construction crews, to drive project success.Monitor project progress, identify, and mitigate risks, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.Your skills and experience:Engineering qualification with strong experience in management (or similar senior level) of experience.A sound understanding and knowledge of project delivery and construction, preferably in the renewables or power sector.A high level of business and commercial (contractual) acumen backed by a sound ability to interpret, read and manage budgets, financial reports and analyze schedules.Strong leadership and communication skills.Formal project management accreditation equivalent to Australian Institute Project Management (AIPM), PMBOK, Diploma, PMP or equivalent is desirable.Please note that relevant screening checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
