As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in initiating, planning, and overseeing the successful delivery of key projects aligned with Praemium's strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. In this role, you will manage all aspects of project delivery, including risk and issue management, communication, and post-implementation reviews. Your ability to effectively engage stakeholders, maintain project documentation, and coordinate across departments will be critical in ensuring the successful implementation of projects that contribute to our organisational goals.Main Activities of This Position:Oversee a variety of projects, including IT integration, regulatory compliance, business process improvement, and product governance, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and adaptability to evolving needs.Employ a flexible project management approach that integrates agile methods with governance and control, suitable for projects involving technical development and product uplift.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including scope, requirements, outcomes, and deliverables.Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Technology, and Operations, fostering strong relationships to ensure seamless project delivery.Address scope changes, risks, and challenges early on to ensure project success while embracing flexibility and adaptability.Plan and manage testing activities to validate project deliverables and ensure quality.Lead implementation, training, and communication efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes across the organisation.Manage projects related to regulatory changes, compliance uplift, and AFSL rationalisation, ensuring adherence to financial services regulations and risk management practices.Embrace a flexible working environment where processes are evolving, and project frameworks are establishing, while driving continuous improvement.Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:Tertiary degree in a business-related subject or equivalent industry experience.Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.Proven experience in managing projects in the finance industry, particularly within wealth management and superannuation.Experience working in an agile environment.Strong background in business analysis, project planning, and stakeholder engagement.Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong organisational and time management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and delivering results.Proactive in identifying risks and resolving issues to ensure project success.What We Provide for You to Thrive In and Out of Work:A supportive work environment with hybrid working conditions—work from home and onsite, with a flexible schedule.Financial rewards for your contributions to our success, including an incentive plan.Leave benefits to support you and your family, including paid parental leave and additional purchased leave.Additional benefits to assist with managing your money, including novated leasing and financial wellness courses.A supportive and talented team that promotes diversity and inclusion.Freshen up before and after work when in the CBD with end-of-trip facilities at 367 Collins Street.Future development opportunities in your area of interest.How to apply:Please apply directly with your CV and cover letter.
