The project manager vacancy is situated in a specialised division of the business that is currently working on a large-scale development pipeline over the next decade. Your new role
Focusing on a large-scale residential community, the Project Manager works under the supervision of the Project Director and ensures the timely design, delivery and budgetary requirements across various new developments. Your day-to-day duties will include:
Assist the division with activities related to construction of estate work (civil & landscape).
Oversee the design & construction process and progress against schedule and budget.
Ensure the design & construction teams are delivering as per schedule and budget whilst ensuring expectations and standards are being met.
Liaise with relevant government stakeholders
Co-ordinate and control design and submit for review and approval.
Review all designs and approve the design before tender and construction.
Obtain authority approval for projects and facilitate resolving design with design team.
Review selective procurement if required.
Reviewing and assessing variations, progress claims, QA records, WHS records
Facilitate audits of the contractors' performance in safety, environmental protection and quality assurance
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a professional within the project setting and have demonstrated exposure within construction management methodologies in an on-site and client-side setting preferably. You will also require:
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Architecture or related discipline
Attention to detail with strong communication skills
Previous exposure to civil and landscape projects (preferred)
Proven ability to manage multiple teams of stakeholders
Professionally minded and growth orientated
Ability to work collaboratively in a wider project team
Relevant trade tickets include White Cards, Asbestos and Silica Awareness What you'll get in return Salary based on skills and experience up to $170,000 + super
