Job DescriptionA leading Tier 2 Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing business in Canberra.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.Bid Management: Develop and manage bids for new projects, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with clients and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Design Management: Oversee the design and development of projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations.Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of project coordinators and engineers to deliver high-quality projects.Financial Management: Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.RequirementsQualifications: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements, as well as construction safety standards.About the CompanyAmida Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specializing in construction and engineering recruitment.
