About the RoleReporting directly to the Fleet Manager, you will lead the transition of our vehicle tracking system to state-of-the-art 4G telematics for our nationwide fleet, this is a hands on role where you will leverage your expertise in project management, as well as your experience with logistics and fleet management.This is a 9 month full time maximum term contract, location flexible.You can work from where you are most productive, whether that be from your home or one of our offices, however, there may be times where you are required in the office.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with our vendor to ensure seamless project delivery.Manage tasks and progress using cloud-based project management platform.Conduct regular meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.Management of Steering Committee meetings and governance reporting.Identify installation locations for vehicles and negotiate optimal sites.Map vehicle locations against installation sites to determine workload distribution.Develop a streamlined process for scheduling installations based on vehicle and installer availability.Reconcile monthly installations for approval and payment in line with the project budget.Manage the transition away from existing vendor agreements.Build and manage dashboards to monitor rollout progress effectively.Produce clear and concise communications for internal teams and drivers regarding the project.Work with our ICT team to implement Single Sign-On (SSO) for staff and create a process for non-LWB staff.Create forms and guides.Collaborate with the vendor to document processes, including but not limited to installations, defects, and decommissions.Develop training modules and documents for staff and ensure smooth handover to business as usual (BAU).Skills & ExperienceProven experience in project management, with a hands-on approach.Background in fleet and/or logistics management is highly desirable.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong communication skills with a focus on collaboration and positive outcomesDemonstrated ability to consistently meet project deadlines.Strong communication and organisational skills.Capacity to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check.To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exemption certificate.You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.BenefitsOpportunity to work for one of Australia's largest, national, leading social purpose organisationsWork from where you are most productive, whether that be your home or one of our officesUp to $15,900 of your annual salary tax freeMonthly rostered days off
