Over the coming decade we will expand T1 International, and build new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, two multi-storey carparks and our first airport hotel. This will deliver one airport for the people of Western Australia which will host all flight services in a central location giving passengers a seamless, world-class travel experience.
Our team is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager – 12-month FTC.
What you'll do:As a Project Manager at Perth Airport, you will oversee the planning and execution of capital works projects, ensuring they meet scope, quality, time, and budget requirements. You'll manage project risks, produce essential project documentation, and facilitate stakeholder input. Building strong business relationships with project owners, designers, contractors, and stakeholders is key. You'll handle procurement activities, including writing scopes of work, drafting contracts, and managing claims and invoicing. Leading project meetings and submitting regular reports are also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, minimizing harm to employees, suppliers, and the public, while promoting an environmentally conscious culture.
About You:Hold a tertiary qualification or have significant experience in project management, building design, architecture, or engineeringDemonstrated full accountability in managing projects independentlyProven experience in delivering complex facilities such as aviation, healthcare, defence, laboratories, or manufacturingStrong team player with excellent communication skillsSolid commercial understanding of contractual rights and obligations related to projectsKnowledge and application of project controlsProfessional approach to project management and team engagementAbility to influence others effectively and ensure timely development, communication, and monitoring of plansThe successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the field, with prior project management experience. This role will require a high level of rapport with all levels of employees both internally and externally to the business.
