The Role:
This is 12 month contract position is for a mid level IT Project Manager ready to develop theircareer further. You will be tasked with the delivery of a high level of service to clients throughthe scoping, design, planning, monitoring and implementation of projects. A key aspect to thisposition is not to manage individual projects, but manage across all the projects.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements
Undertake all documentation aspects of project planning, implementation and evaluation;
Manage day to day aspects of multiple projects
Risk and issue identification, assessment and management;
Bridge the gaps between business & IT from a communications aspect
Follow the PRINCE2 project management system;
Develop and maintain a client focused approach to all projects;
Qualifications
Ideally you will have at least 3 years project management experience in a service environment characterised by multiple, complex projects focused around key IT technical requirements such as client website development
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Arabic (desirable)
Proven client liaison and customer service experience;
Conceptual, analytical and negotiation skills;
Ability to interpret and understand technology and communicate needs and requirements to technical and nontechnical customers (internal and external);
Training and/or experience in project delivery using the PRINCE2 project management methodology
Please note: This position requires travel. The successful applicant must beprepared and be able to travel domestically and internationally for a period of up to 6 weeks induration, as and when required.
