We have a long and successful partnership with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and we are currently looking to engage aProject Manager,initiallyon a 6 month fixed term contract. Working within the Broadspectrum Fuel Services team this role will see you demonstrate capability in winning and delivering a program of fuel infrastructure upgrade projects on Defence sites.
Duties will include but not limited to:
Management of multiple conflicting projects, from conception to completion.
Lead the methodology content in future tender responses
Execution of multi-discipline SMP construction activities.
Effectively build & maintain relationships with internal & external key stakeholders.
Manage & monitor to change requests to ensure positive commercial outcomes.
Identify opportunities for business growth.
Own and report on forecasts, schedules & budgets.
Provide innovative solutions & “betterways” to ensure constant improvement.
Implement forward thinking strategies to minimise risk and ensure project deadlines are meet.
Strong experience managing a variety of multi-discipline construction/upgrade Oil and Gas projects.
Previous experience delivering fuel infrastructure projects on Defence sites
Life cycle project management experience.
Excellent commercial acumen and understanding of commercial contracts.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to delegate, lead and develop people.
Proven commitment to delivering projects safely, on time and within budget
Exposure to SAP, Primavera P6, Hard Dollar & MS project highly desirable.
