Project Engineer (S&M)

Job Description
About the Role: Join our Tier 1 EPCM client as a Project Engineer on a major Iron Ore Project. In this role, you will take charge of managing and delivering critical equipment packages, ensuring they meet project specifications and timelines.
Duties:

Be the main point of contact for assigned Package(s).
Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders, advise Client stakeholders, and work with the EPCM design team to scope the Package.
Support the EPCM procurement team with tender document preparation.
Oversee technical bid evaluations, contribute to tender selection, and recommendation for award.
Manage and review all supplier/contractor deliverables.
Coordinate with the Site team on delivery schedules and manage post-delivery support for installation and commissioning.

Key Criteria:

Mechanical engineering degree.
Must have package engineering experience for equipment used on iron ore processing plant.
Previous RIO, BHP, FMG project experience.
Energetic team player with strong stakeholder management skills.
Previous experience on brownfields projects through tender, procurement, design, and construction.
Experience working in an EPCM environment.
