About the role The Project Engineer will manage project teams, including council employees and contractors, across various projects. No direct reports but there is an opportunity to mentor and guide graduate engineers.
Private vehicle for use Opportunity for professional growth Duties Administer contracts for road infrastructure construction projects Engage and build strong relationships with government and private stakeholders Manage day-to-day construction operations and programs for Council roads Prepare reports to monitor safety, budget, and performance metrics Skills & experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field Minimum of 3 years' experience in road construction and maintenance projects Exceptional interpersonal abilities to resolve issues tactfully and maintain positive stakeholder engagement Strong communication and diplomacy skills for managing stakeholder relationships Proven experience working with Queensland roads and state government stakeholders (desirable) If you're looking for a rewarding and challenging role we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
