With continual growth and diversification, we are currently seeking a Project Engineer.As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, maintaining, analysing and reporting on key project performance indicators. This role is accountable to the Project Controls Manager and assigned Project Manager/Director for which the Project Engineer is assigned.Key Accountabilities:Provide support to the Project Manager as required and assist with deliverables.Preparation of Project and Engineering Plans, Management Plans and other project specific documentation.Liaise with Engineers for the purpose of engineering calculations, modelling, subcontractor management support and technical deliverables.Review and monitor project schedules.Provide project reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Liaise with client representatives, subcontractors and suppliers associated with each project.Raise and prepare contract change proposals for client approval.Contract administration support.Identify & raise non-conformance reports in relation to Quality, Safety & Environment.Maintain safety, quality, and risk Registers.Proactively promote quality, environmental responsibility & safety within the workplace, encouraging an outcome of Birdon being a place of work by choice.Actively participate in the continued growth of the business in all divisions.Minimum Requirements:Business or Engineering qualification.3 years' experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager role.Ability to prioritize work deadlines in an ever-changing setting.Excellent project and time management skills.Strong ability to develop technical documents, manuals and drawings.High Level of proficiency with MS Office Applications.Able to work on various tasks simultaneously, with strong organisational and time skills.Service-oriented team player with a "make it happen safely" attitude.Outstanding communication, leadership and management skills.We deliver value for our customers through our innovative people, organisational agility, and operational excellence.
