Seqwater are seeking exceptional Project Directors to lead several significant capital projects. These roles direct a substantial portfolio of multi-billion-dollar critical water infrastructure projects, considered essential for more than three million Queenslanders.What you'll do:As a Project Director for Seqwater, you will implement project management frameworks to enable the timely and in scope delivery of their capital programs. You will be the key client representative ensuring all project phases are completed within budget, while minimising disruption to normal business activity. Your day to day responsibilities will include:Delivering high-quality project management and contract administration services.Overseeing capital planning, business case development and construction activities.Identifying major strategic issues for the organisation and integrate diverse stakeholder interests.Developing project schedules including risk management and contingency planning.Ensuring commitment to exceeding all safety, compliance, and quality assurance requirements.What you bring:As a Project Director, your outcomes focused leadership will be instrumental in the success of their program. You will bring a demonstrated background in the effective planning and delivery of major projects, have experience building and leading diverse owners' teams, and in procuring and managing tier one contractors in the delivery of large water infrastructure and earthwork projects. You will possess:Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, Project Management or Economics and substantial experience in planning and delivering major physical infrastructure projects.An appreciation of industry and regulatory requirements and how they relate to asset planning and delivery and experience administering major commercial contracts of a collaborative nature.The ability to maintain and develop relationships, collaborate and share accountability across organisational and functional boundaries to drive consistent and seamless delivery.Be a strong and practical leader, possess high level negotiation, advocacy and change management skills and be experienced working with executive level stakeholders.About Seqwater:Seqwater is committed to providing water for more than three million people across South East Queensland.
