About the role: Knauf Gypsum Australia Pty Ltd (trading as Knauf Linings) are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team servicing a dedicated area of QLD.
The main focus of this position is to perform all aspects of the onsite coordination of plasterboard installation processes ensuring safe, quality installation via a sub-contractor trade base as per the contracted procedures, specifications and time lines to our customers.
Based in Berrinba, QLD you will be required to coordinate the safe and profitable supply and installation of Knauf Plasterboard products and accessories to residential homes while ensuring compliance with the Knauf Interior Linings HSE system, Quality Management System, Knauf Plasterboard installation requirements and Australian Standards.
Your part in developing a stronger and faster innovative solution includes: Ensure site safety for all stakeholders in accordance with Knauf safety management system (including employees, sub-contractors, clients etc.)
Ensure sub-contractors works are carried out in accordance with the Knauf Quality Management System, Knauf Plasterboard installation recommendations and relevant Australian Standards with daily site visits to check compliance and standards Source, induct and train new sub-contractors in accordance with safety management and quality systems Manage existing sub-contractors to ensure ongoing compliance to sub-contractor agreements Scheduling of Maintenance trades as well as in-house inspection Approve acceptable completion of sub-contract works prior to payment of contractors Daily site visits with builders and sub-contractors Develop customer relationships and enhance the position of Knauf Linings in the market Manage project for Pre delivery inspections of plasterboard through to completion of linings including all maintenance Manage all admin aspects for the project within our SAP system Your innovation will inspire us by including and having: Minimum 2 years' experience in residential building industry (preferably Plasterer by Trade ) Current and valid drivers licence Trade qualified plastering experience, not essential but will be very highly regarded Building related trade qualification or extensive experience / industry knowledge (preferably in dry plastering) Construction Induction (White-card) ~ Knauf will Provide training to be certified if required Computer literacy Exceptional planning and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Honesty and integrity Why join Knauf?
