As we continue through an exciting period of growth, we are currently recruiting for passionate and motivated Project Controls Officers to join our Perth based team. Reporting to the Group Manager - Project Services, the Project Controllers will support the business in the Project Controls function. The responsibilities for these roles include cost control (management and change control), progress measurement and project analysis with consistent and accurate reporting on all project activities.
The tasks you'll perform:
Support the cost control function within the Lycopodium Minerals Perth (and subsidiaries) business.
Facilitate best in class project controls framework, procedures and work methods, integrating the Studies, Engineering, Project Management, Cost Control and Construction functions.
Deliver consistent, accurate reporting, and analytical tools for study delivery, project delivery and Lycopodium Minerals Leadership team requirements.
Provide specialist project controls advice with respect to cost management, change management and control, forecasting, reporting, performance assessment and data analytics.
Assess Project trends, risks and evaluate performance of Projects by performing peer review of Project Controls teams reporting.
Advocate the delivery of the monthly forecast process, ensuring robust and consistent forecasts are maintained throughout the delivery of all Projects.
The expertise you'll bring:
3 - 5 + years in a similar role with relevant industry experience (mineral processing experience highly regarded).
Undergraduate qualification in Engineering or Accounting / Commerce.
Thorough and extensive knowledge of Project control principles, theories, concepts, tools and reporting.
Exceptional ability to multitask and work at pace in a complex and challenging EPCM sector.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a team, in high-pressure Project environments.
Capacity to evaluate work practices, implement systems and suggest alternatives and refinements where necessary.
Ability to create a positive stakeholder management and customer support environment.
