The Organisation
Based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, very close to the CBD (with hybrid working options), our client is an iconic not-for-profit organisation providing meaningful support to the most disadvantaged in our community.
The organisation is now looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to lead organisation-wide strategic projects.
The Position
Leading a small team, the PMO Manager ensures that infrastructure-wide projects align with the organisation's strategic goals.
They work closely with senior executives to select and prioritise projects that contribute to overall business objectives.
Additionally, the PMO Manager will ensure that projects are delivered with standardised execution - including reporting on progress and alignment with strategic initiatives - as well as developing and monitoring budgets, timelines, risks, quality, and ensuring successful delivery.
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have:
Significant experience in project management, especially larger projects within large, complex organisations
Proactive management and leadership skills in organisation-wide (not solely technology) projects, from ideation to implementation; delivered effectively, on time, and on budget
Formulated and created impactful business cases for key strategic initiatives, establishing mechanisms to track benefits and drive results
Developed tools for project reporting and financial modelling
Strong knowledge of, passion for, and values alignment with, the NFP Community Sector
