About the Opportunity You will be accountable for managing financial performance of assigned South Australian based projects. Delivering value added services to stakeholders through accurate, timely financial performance and project costs information and financial guidance in support of project delivery.
Responsible for the end-to-end project accounting and reporting of assigned South Australian based projects. This includes providing monthly financial performance reporting for projects and direct project departments ensuring compliance with the ISSC, ASC guidelines, polices, procedures and relevant accounting standards.
Permanent Full-Time opportunity based in Osborne, SA.
Responsibilities End to end reporting and financial control of assigned CCSM SA based projects including budget, accruals, forecasting, invoicing, debtor management, indexation, forex, reconciliation and financial analysis. End to end reporting and financial control of assigned SA direct based departments including budget, accruals, forecasting, and financial analysis. Work collaboratively with the business to provide finance education in regards to the financial management of assigned contracts, feeding issues/impacts back to the teams and correcting at source (right first time). Financial management of project related Capex, business cases and support to bids. Monitor and incorporate changes resulting from Contract Change Proposals into financial processes. Input into project risk management process including maintenance of finance related risks in the risk register. About you Minimum 3-5 years' experience of related business experience in a project or manufacturing based environment or public practice. CPA/CA or equivalent membership or working towards qualification. Well-developed understanding and use of financial business information systems. Experience in the application of project management techniques with a sound understanding of the project scheduling costing systems and earned value techniques. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Audit experience (Highly desirable). Excellent communication and time management skills. Team and customer focused. This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
