Geared4Careers is an innovative youth employment program providing support to students across Northern Victoria.
The program started in 2011 in Wangaratta, with just 32 participants and a passion to support our local youth.
Fast forward to now, where we have a growing presence in 16 local secondary schools and have 22 program officers, currently supporting over 1,550 students.
The position involves engaging and mentoring youth in secondary school, assisting them to reach their full potential through employment opportunities while studying and then successfully transitioning to ongoing employment or entry into tertiary courses.
Our successful candidate will be based at a Secondary School in the Shepparton region, with some travel to the local Shepparton Office.
