Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working model:
-3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
-2 days from an RACP office location per week,
-1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.
Job DescriptionAbout the Role The Professional Practice (PP) team at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) supports physicians and those training to be physicians by managing development programs, providing guidance on clinical and ethical standards, and offering resources for career advancement.One team in the Professional Practice team supports Overseas Trained Physicians.
Overseas Trained Physicians (OTPs) are specialist physicians or paediatricians who have received their medical education and training outside of Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand.
The primary purpose of the Program Lead, OTP is to lead the strategic direction, development, and success of a program, ensuring it meets regulatory, RACP objectives and OTP needs, aligning with business objectives and delivers measurable value over time.
The Lead acts as the bridge between stakeholders, OTPs, delivery and development teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure the program's long-term success.
Key Accountabilities Leads program strategy , development, delivery and support and communicates this clearly across the Portfolio and divisionManages program stakeholders, including building and nurturing important relationships for existing operations and future growth, internally and externallyLeads product and service development and delivery for the program, in close collaboration with Program InnovationEnsures regulatory and compliance alignment of the program, and anticipates future needsLeads technology integration and oversight for the program, in collaboration with GIP teamStrategically deploys resources and manages financials effectively to improve outcomes and sustainability of the programBuilds and maintains partnerships to develop and improve the programIdentifies and shapes new revenue/commercial opportunitiesLeads the program with savvy commercial and business acumen to improve organisational outcomesEmbeds best practices for data analysis and reporting in operations, programs and products
Desired Skills and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g.
adult education, medical education, business operations, policy making).Minimum of three years of project or program management experience (preferably in a health, higher education or not-for-profit organisation) within technology driven environments.Problem solving skills, ability to make complex judgements, find creative solutions whilst meeting tight deadlines.Demonstrated experience to develop, monitor and reach predicted outcomes in line with strategic and business plans.Highly developed and effective negotiation, influencing, and people and stakeholder engagement and management skills.High level verbal and written communication, including policy/process documentation and fluent, concise and accurate report writing, to gain consensus and commitment from others this includes interpersonal and consultation skills, and an ability to build strong working relationships with senior team members and key stakeholders.Understanding of relevant technology.Understanding of online learning programs and social learning.Understanding of risk management framework.Excellent organisational and planning skills, including the ability to effectively work with time poor stakeholders and plan and organise complex schedules and multiple events at one time.To apply for the role, submit your CV and Cover Letter by COB 25 November 2024.
