Professional Organiser – Casual positionThe primary focus of the role is to guide and empower our clients as they make informed decisions about how they want their space to be, and to help them achieve a greater sense of organisation, stability and calmness in themselves and the physical spaces that surround them.
We are looking for applicants who have the following:
A strong client focus, including empathy, patience, trustworthiness and robust listening skills.A desire to make a difference in the lives of people who are struggling with clutter and disorganisation, particularly people who are aging and/or living with disabilities, without judgement or criticism.Strong organisation skills with the ability to create functional spaces.Resilience to situations and environments where hoarding tendencies and environmental neglect may be present.Professional handling of sensitive and confidential information.Willingness to undertake work that can be quite physical.Excellent presentation and communication, including a respectful, polite manner.A Victorian Driver's licence and own car.A current Working with Children Check – Employment.Meets the current Victoria Government COVID-19 vaccination requirements.Preferred criteria: Aged care or disability sectors, including mental health support.Supporting neurodivergent people and people with complex needs.Overcoming extensive clutter, disorganisation and/or hoarding tendencies.Family focused home organisation.What we offer: On the job training.Casual hours.Award – Social and Community Services Employee (Home Care).Work/life balance – flexible hours Monday to Friday.Opportunities for career development.Applications, including a cover letter detailing why you are interested in the position and addressing the criteria as well as your CV should be forwarded to ******.
