The position has a primary emphasis on engineering geology, providing a link between the field investigations and the civil engineering design team. This role will cover:
Design investigation programs. Developing geological models based on site specific data. Understanding how the strength and deformability of natural materials translate into the properties needed for the design of heavy industrial structures. You will work with, and actively contribute to an effective and experienced team who will help you to further develop your skills and knowledge.
You have a background in the following areas: Tertiary qualifications in relevant field. Working knowledge and experience in engineering geology (5-10 years). Investigation and design of hydropower and pumped storage schemes. Experience or knowledge of hydropower, pumped storage or dams would be an advantage. Why Work with Entura?
