The Company Our client is a large manufacturer and supplier of customised glass products, insulated glass units, laminated glass products, fire resistant and toughened safety glass to name a few. Located in Knoxfield, they are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and committed to join their team!
The Role Will Involve, But Is Not Limited To Working in accordance with company OH&S including manual handling training to lift, carry and load glass safely Processing products in a timely manner Safely load and unload products, providing special care in handling fragile products Working to deadlines Working professionally in a team with your colleagues and management Maintaining a clean and safe working area at all times Reporting any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately A medical will be required for these ongoing positions To be successful in this role, you will have: Ability to work in a physically demanding and repetitive environment Good tenure working history Physical fitness for heavy lifting Recent references Basic computer skills Understanding of correct manual handling practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Own safety shoes and yellow hi-vis vest Glass production experience beneficial but not essential Strong attention to detail Good communication skills - both verbal and written Hours and Rates: Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 2.30pm, $34.34 per hour
Afternoon shift: Monday to Friday, 2.30pm - 10.30pm, $41.21 per hour
Night shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10.30pm - 6.30am, $43.96 per hour
