About the role As we continue to grow our workforce in manufacturing, Daikin Australia is looking for a proven and proactive Production Supervisor to manage the day-to-day manufacturing operations in our production line.
This role will operate out of our Manufacturing plant located in Chipping Norton, NSW and oversee and manage the daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
This will be a critical role, being part of 1 out of 4 supervisors leading and motivating a team of skilled production workers to ensure efficient and effective operations, ensuring a safe, inclusive and positive working environment and continuously support and implement improvement initiatives.
In this role, reporting to the Operations Manager your key responsibilities will include: • Implement and maintain quality control standards to guarantee product excellence.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyse production data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
About you To be successful in this role, you will have: • Demonstrated commitment to manufacturing workplace safety.
• 3 years+ experience in a similar role – supervisory qualification desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong communication skills.
• Experience with manufacturing and production best practices and principles.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and make decisions.
• High-level organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
