Production Estimating Manager

This building company has been in Hobart for over 10 years delivering high-quality homes across Tasmania. They have a growing team in the estimating department and require someone to head up the Estimating division and oversee their Production Estimators. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of Production Estimators Negotiate with suppliers as per company policies Analyse tender submissions and prepare documentation for suppliers Maintain preferred suppliers agreements Review supply rates with bill of quantity structures Work with site staff to ensure smooth running of projects Experience managing procurement policies and negotiating contracts and supply agreements with housing suppliers, contractors and subcontractors is ideal Requirements for the role Experience working for a residential builder (custom or volume) in a Senior Estimator or Estimating Manager role Experience working on house & land packages, spec homes, contract housing or similar Databuild experience (or similar estimating experience) A solid understanding of the Australian Building Industry A flexible approach to work and a willingness to be involved in growing the business Benefits Established business with excellent structure and operations Reputable brand Growth opportunity as company develops and expands Diverse portfolio of work in investment and project home building Friendly, experienced and professional upper management Parking on site For any questions relating to this role or other opportunities with D&B and our clients please contact Denise Kostoulias on (03) 8535 3100 or click apply.
