How will you make an impact?
From providing Applications, Sales and Technical support for the relevant product line and assist Product Management to develop marketing tools with a focus on the Environmental Assessment sector instrumentation and ancillaries. Engage and lead customer-facing activities driving sales to include customer presentations, sales training, and necessary support of key account penetration. Preparation of sales collateral includes application notes, customer testimonials, and white papers on current and emerging topics in the industry.
Utilise demonstration equipment to validate product requirements and customer needs. Provide leadership on installation and training to the service organization. Product lines include groundwater level instrumentation, water quality portable and process instruments, remote monitoring and remediation technologies.

What will you do?
To achieve sales and margin targets for designated product portfolio by supporting distributor network, existing customers and generating new business opportunities.
In conjunction with the Product Manager contribute to the development of marketing strategies for the product group including the identification of new business opportunities so that profitable portfolio and business growth is achieved.
Provide technical, application & sales support, to both field sales and customers including product demonstrations for customers at client sites or in house demonstration facilities.
Gain a strong understanding of the customer's requirements and application needs on a technical level so as to ensure the most suitable solution is being proposed.
Partner with other Product Specialists and field sales to identify new business opportunities and close sales.
Provide inside sales and technical support to sales managers, account managers, independent sales representatives and customers.
Resolve customer technical issues to high customer satisfaction.
Analyse potential applications by product testing.
Prepare and deliver customer and sales training presentations as required on application topics.
Identify likely areas of emerging applications and propose applications solutions to product management.
Provide lead on product installations and engage with the overseas team and local service group to lead and build service capability.
Attend regular sales meetings and communicate sales issues to the field sales team.
Ability to travel and service customers in WA,SA and NT.

How will you get here?
EducationFormal tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (science or engineering) and/or relevant industry experience.

ExperienceProven results in a long lead time sales environment with high turnover consumables of a highly technical nature.
Experience and a passion for the environmental monitoring instrumentation.
Familiarity and competence in computer use; specifically the Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of the industrial process instrumentation industry in Australia and New Zealand.
