Product Relationship Manager
Start Date: 2 September 2024
Length: 10 months + 2 x 12 month extensions
Location of work: VIC, SA
The ICT product relationship and engagement managers should possess a broad range of skills spanning multiple disciplines within the ICT domain. These resources will be required to engage with representatives of the research community to gather and interpret requirements and feed planning activities for identified upcoming or emerging services.
The ability to build strong client and internal relationships with personnel from a broad range of service, capability development or delivery teams and co-ordinate delivery of BAU or bespoke solution outcomes is a core requirement of these roles. Broad ICT industry experience, spanning multiple domains and technologies including Networking, Virtualisation, Software Development, CI/CD and Containerisation is highly beneficial.
Product Relationship Managers will be responsible for contributing to requirements definition, activity planning, championing research community demand and requirements, while co-ordinating and facilitating timely delivery of off-the-shelf and tailored solutions to meet the defined outcomes in conjunction with technical and leadership personnel.
Key Experience: Broad experience and understanding of ICT technology layer components, including hardware platform, virtualisation, storage, networking, operating systems (Linux & Windows) and enterprise enabling infrastructure services (e.g., Active Directory, databases, etc.)Understanding of architecture and design frameworks, spanning Enterprise, Solution and Service component layers of the model and applicability to research outcomesHighly developed technical understanding in one or more of the ICT system layer domains, with ability to interpret requirements and evaluate solution patterns and offerings in a research enablement contextProfessional internal/external customer and business relationship management skillsHighly developed communication skills, both oral and written to enable collection, interpretation, definition and requirements specification of researcher requirements against ICT system offerings and demandBroad experience within the ICT industry spanning user engagement, solution specification, delivery co-ordination, service management and reporting What You Get:
