About the role This is a 12-month contract opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.
The primary purpose of this role is to act as the Product Owner on several projects within the Trading Portfolio program of work.
This role will take direction from business product owners and ensure deliverables align with business strategy and commercial goals.
The Product Owner must prioritise business outcomes and project deliverables by considering the requirements of various business stakeholders across Energy Markets and Group Finance.
They will be responsible for communicating these requirements to the ICT project members to ensure business value is being delivered by the project.
This position requires extensive knowledge of trading environments as well as the Agile development methodology.
It is expected that this position will be involved in Agile ceremonies throughout each relevant project.
The person will upskill and coach business stakeholders in Agile and Product Ownership capabilities building a core competency and tools/methods.
Key activities include: Take direction from Product Owners on solution direction, priorities and commercial outcomes Provide a single point of reference for project managers and business analysts into the business Prioritise project deliverables by considering the requirements of various business stakeholders across Energy Markets and Group Finance Participate in SCRUM Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, task planning, retrospectives and stand-ups.
About you Experience in energy trading with extensive knowledge of front, middle and back-office processes.
Capabilities as a product owner and working on Agile projects.
Experience in delivering business value through project delivery and understanding change management and embedding of new solutions.
