About the role
The Product Owner will be responsible for ensuring the final product has the customer experience in mind, whilst considering efficiency of delivery, within the constraints of legislative deadlines, and market competitiveness. This role will require you to have confidence to make quick and effective decisions and work in a collaborative manner. You will be working with up to 4 technology scrum teams, and other delivery teams, to ensure they are delivering as per your direction.
The role also requires you to be the voice of the customer and the end user in all the meetings, including but not limited to Scrum ceremonies you attend and requirements gathering workshops to help build out the product backlog.
In this role you will be the go to person for all key stakeholders in terms of vision for the product, the prioritisation and what the business and the customers can expect to see.
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
2+ years recent Agile Product Owner experience
Knowledge of end to end product development and demonstrated an understanding of incremental delivery and the value of metrics
Very strong communication and presentation skills, personable, outgoing, friendly and collaborative
Have a good grasp of technical debt how this plays into the product roadmap
Technical Delivery, Product Manager, Marketing, Analysis or Consulting background
Superannuation and Regulatory Change experience is desirable
Agile Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification or equivalent training
Demonstrated experience in previous leadership/influencer role
A demonstrated understanding of MVP and how to develop it in an effective manner
Ability to write user stories and clear definitions of done
Know when to split stories, how to effectively use customer personas and story mapping
Ability to articulate your vision and product road-map in a way that suits your audience e.g. Developer vs General Manager
