About the role
Lead the development, design, and implementation of corporate cloud network products and services at Optus. You'll drive the high-level strategy, technical design, and evolution of corporate network cloud solutions, aligning them with Group IT's goals. This role ensures secure, scalable, and innovative multi-cloud infrastructure across Singtel-Optus.
Your Impact

Product Planning: Craft and maintain the roadmap for corporate cloud network services.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with business units, IT teams, and vendors, managing expectations and gathering requirements.
Technical Design: Lead the design and development of network products, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to specification.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for design, capacity, and performance.
Training and Support: Create guides to assist users and configuration teams.
Market Research: Stay on top of trends and best practices in cloud networking.
Performance Optimization: Monitor performance, identifying improvements.
Budget & Compliance: Collaborate on budget planning and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Vendor Management: Partner with Procurement to secure and manage vendor relationships effectively.

The major infrastructure platforms (on premise and cloud based) include technologies such as:

Transit Gateway (TGW)
Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)
Direct Connect/VPN
Virtual Routers/Switches and Network Functions
Software Defined Networking and Control Systems
Identity Services and Network Authentication/Access Control Systems
DNS and DHCP platforms and services, IP Address Management, Network Shared Services

Your Skills

Degree in IT or equivalent experience (10+ years in enterprise network/cloud design).
Proven leadership in product development and stakeholder engagement.
Expert knowledge of multi-cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, and command structures.
Strong planning and technical specification skills, incorporating advanced problem solving and business requirements analysis applicable to IT systems and solutions in both Private and Public Cloud environments.
Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills with proven ability to lead change.
Desired: AWS, GCP, Azure, or Cisco certifications.
Degree in Engineering or Telecommunications is desired along with either CISSIP, ISSAP CCIE, JNCIE, CCNP or CCDP certifications.
